Solution Focused

I am very solution focused meaning I see a problem and immediately begin to think of ways to solve it or minimize the effects of it. I must admit, I have not always been solution focused and have spent so much time waddling in my problems but thank God for growth, maturity, and wisdom now I am the solution focused person I am today.

When faced with adversity, we cannot have long going pity parties and we have to encourage ourselves in our situation. Next, seek out wise counsel. If you are not able to see a situation clearly connect with someone who is not impacted in your situation and ask for advice.

Most importantly, take responsibility! Don't place blame. Playing the blame game takes too much time which could be spent on problem resolution. I had a habit of blaming everyone else, everyone was the problem, it was never me. Guess what, after three failed marriages, I finally realized I played a major part in the problem.

Problems are temporary. Problems are meant to grow you. Problems mature you and expand knowledge as you seek out solutions, if you allow them. You evolve as you are faced with problems, if you are not evolving, you are not learning from your problems.

My solutions begin with God! But I get it, God is not the go to for everybody....

When you call me, know that I am looking for solutions. I will engage in your pity party for a quick minute then it is back to business. After the problem is resolved, I will help you develop a plan so that you do not have to travel that mountain again!

I hope others have the same energy with me....
