So it is the time of year when we make resolutions and state all the amazing things we will do in the new year. We mention cutting people off, going new places and meeting new people. Many of us go through our friends list and start deleting friends who we determine add no value to our lives or never comment on our post.
Are we seriously committed to changing our lives and dismissing old friends and if we are committed, why?
Each year we profess all these changes but what about simple small changes that would make us better people. Changes like, being a courteous driver, what about smiling and being friendly to your co-workers. What about helping out around the house more or spending more meaningful time with family.
I understand why we go through the whole resolutions thing but are we enhancing our lives by making or even attempting to live up to our resolutions...probably not. However, by making small changes we have the ability to impact not only our lives but the lives of others. It's the small things that really change the trajectory of our lives. So instead of making a list of resolutions just live...
