I received an email from a colleague this morning and I am blessed by it. She reminded me of God’s pruning process. Let me first say, this colleague knows nothing about my personal journey with God or my personal relationships, struggles, or issues.

Pruning: the cutting away of dead branches or stems: cutting away of branches not bearing any fruit

She wrote that she gets in the way of God‘s pruning process. I was reminded I am getting in Gods way! God is attempting to cut some stuff but I am trying to water and restore however, that is not what this post is about.

It is important to build a circle of support. It is a blessing to have God place you on someone's heart and they actually reach out to you. If there is someone who keeps running across your mind, reach out to them, you never know how much this my bless them.

Honestly, my circle/triangle is compromised of three people. It is my fault that I only have three people which whom I have intimate personal realationships with. I accept responsibility. I also ensure that I am intentional about maintainig these relationships. I am honest, open, available, non judgemental, and most of all I ensure these relationships stay Godly. Not saying we don't cut up, drink wine, and talk about crazy stuff, but it always goes back to God. Keep your circle of support solid. Have various types of people in your circle. Example, I have a nurse in my circle, a ride or die in my circle, and a person with a vast amount of wisdom in my circle. Each of them provide me with something I need to survive and grow. If your circle is not promoting growth, expand your circle.
